HR Grapevine's Annual Conference

London - 16th March 2017

#HRGV2017

Welcome to The Magic of HR

The key to achieving is to get people believing

If there is one thing business leaders can be certain of it’s uncertainty. The world is continuously changing and businesses are constantly having to adapt to new ways of working.

The rate of change may seem unmanageable, but it is the magic of HR that will enable businesses to achieve the impossible. Whether that is in delivering performance through people, or in ensuring the workforce is agile and adaptable enough to navigate the changing environment.

In such a fast-moving world, HR needs to empower leaders, anticipate the future and inspire an entire workforce in order to allow for successful transformations.

On 16th March 2017, HR Grapevine will gather a unique line-up of Board Executives and HR Directors to speak about the magic of the people function and how the key to achieving is to get people believing. Whether that is fostering a belief across the entire workforce that the business can do the impossible, or getting those at the top to believe in the importance of the people agenda and its power to transform.

Although this may all seem like the supernatural, HR’s abilities are founded in astute strategic planning and can be adopted by any practitioner – not just the blessed few.

And so 400 senior HR professionals will attend our annual event with aims to seek inspiration, take part in lively debates and network during the bustling breaks. Then there is lunch, where the HR Grapevine sparkle really comes into its own, but you will need to come along and discover for yourself what magic we have in store for you this year…

Welcome to HR Grapevine’s 19th annual HR & Talent Management Conference.

Our focus this year is on ‘The Magic of HR’.

Although this may all seem like the supernatural, HR’s abilities are founded in astute strategic planning and can be adopted by any practitioner – not just the blessed few.

For us, content is king. That is our golden rule in everything we do. We aim to inform and intellectually stimulate our senior HR audience through the articles that we publish and the events that we hold – whilst adding a touch of flare that uniquely entertains.

And so we are delighted to put forward another fantastic line-up of diverse speakers at this year’s event. Individuals that represent a multitude of different sectors and functional specialisms across the HR and Talent Management spectrum. We even have two keynote speakers from outside of the function, who will bring a different perspective to HR. We hope that by sharing some of their own successes and failures they will inspire you, and your teams, to develop and improve your own talent journeys.

But our number one aim is to create a forum of senior HR professionals, so get involved! Whether that means contributing to the lively debates at the end of each session, tweeting your thoughts throughout the day or networking face-to-face with your peers – the day is designed to stimulate discussions. Feel free to consult the delegate list to see the names of every attendee.

Thank you for coming to this year’s event. We hope you will have as much fun as we do, and leave with fresh perspectives about the magic of the people function and how the key to achieving is to get people believing.
