Jim graduated from Loughborough University with an honours degree in Economics and Politics. He is a qualified accountant, starting his career at Ernst & Young before moving into recruitment.
Jim has worked within HR at Banks into increasingly more senior roles starting at Lehman Brothers, followed by Credit Suisse and then RBS where he ran the whole resourcing function.
In January 2016, Jim moved to Santander to run their Recruiting, Learning and Talent function and is a driving force behind the Bank’s people strategy to cater for the Millennial workforce, which is a personal interest. When time permits, Jim is a passionate mountain biker, a follower of all things sport and a competent taxi driver for his daughters at the weekend.
