About Paul Gilliam

Paul joined L’Oréal as HR Director in May 2016 and is responsible for people strategy and employee experience across the 5,000 colleagues based in the UK & Ireland. He has a strong focus on talent, culture, innovation and the future of work.

Paul previously worked at Air France KLM for 13 years, leading HR in the UK before moving to France as HR Director for Europe & North Africa and later to New York as VP HR for North America. He spent the first five years of his career at Unilever joining as a graduate trainee and progressing to a number of HR Manager roles in different Manufacturing sites.

Outside of work, he has a passion for travel, wine and finding reasons to avoid going to the gym. His male friends still want to know why he swapped life in Manhattan with cheap flights for an office in Hammersmith surrounded by shampoo and lipstick….
